Isabelle is a queer writer/director from Portland, Oregon, currently based in Los Angeles. She holds an MFA in screenwriting from Brooklyn College’s Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. Her work has been shown at numerous festivals, including the International Film Festival of Rotterdam, Buschwick Film Festival, and the Santa Fe Film Festival where her short won the “Sister’s in Cinema” award. She was a finalist for the Willamette Writers FilmLabTV Writer’s Room. Her stories employ humor, heart, and the fantastical to explore gay stuff, identity crises, and shifting familial relationships. Every weekend during her Junior year of high school, Isabelle watched The Notebook, but only the flashbacks.
